Britney... Choreograph, Teach, Inspire!
Watching Brittney Spears dance has brought me joy through the years. Together with exquisite technique, she expresses exuberance, sassiness, and style.
Dance lets you express yourself, experience the joy of music, and have fun while exercising. It would be super cool if Britney could use her gifts to create something purposeful for those in need of inspiration, such as women in recovery, teens, and women facing significant challenges, such as poverty.
(Judging by Unilad.com’s reporting in “Britney Spears Breaks Her Silence after pleading guilty to ‘wet reckless’ charge after DUI arrest,” Britney is accepting responsibility for her actions March 4, 2026.)
Purpose heals. Purpose places us in the present moment, tables our worries, and energizes us. A 2026 Los Angeles Times article by Keith Wagstaff “A Less Obvious Way to Improve Your Health” interviews Joanna Cheek, MD, the author of It’s Not You, It’s the World: A Mental Health Survival Guide.
“Rather than chase an emotion, which is futile because our emotions are constantly shifting, we can chase purpose, which gives us a lasting sense of accomplishment, because we’re living in line with our values,” Cheek, the author, pointed out in the article.
NDI Shares “Joy and Transformative Power of Dance”
The National Dance Institute (NDI) inspires and empowers children by providing them with a creative outlet that can also serve as a coping mechanism. Renowned New York City Ballet dancer Jacques D’Amboise (1934-2021) founded the National Dance Institute in 1976.
“Jacques recognized that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. He launched NDI to reach children in their schools, not just on stages at grand theaters. From New York City classrooms to villages in Nepal and deserts of Chile, NDI’s inclusive dance programs have touched over two million children worldwide – helping them to channel their energy, build self-confidence, and set their creativity free.”
This condensed 23-minute version of He Makes Me Feel Like Dancin’, the documentary made about Jacques D’Amboise and NDI, captures his joy of making dance accessible and irresistible to beginners.
Britney doesn’t need to start a dance institute, but working with forward thinking organizations whose mission is to empower those in need through the arts would place her in the company of altruistic individuals. Positive energy.
